Credit Recovery Handbook & Application

 

The Shippensburg Virtual Academy serves three types of students.

  1. Students interested in taking courses, not offered at the high school, during their study halls. These students are considered Blended Students and spend most of their time in the traditional classroom setting. Students can sign up for classes during scheduling.
  2. Students interested in taking all of their coursework online and outside of the school building. These students are considered Full time Cyber Students. Any student that believes the Cyber School is an option that they are interested in, must meet with their guidance counselor.
  3. Students, who fail classes during the regular school year, may take courses online to recover credits. These students are considered Credit Recovery students and there is a fee for these courses. If you feel that you are in need of credit recovery, please contact your guidance counselors.
